We have reached the third country of this trip: Austria✔️
After the Time Control restart in Brunico, the Average Trial in Lasta di Dentro, the Time Trials in Terento and the Average Trial in Pfons, the crews reached Innsbruck, the leading city of the Clean Alpine Region project, active in the development and application of innovative alpine technologies 🌿
The leg ended after the last Time Trials along the Klosterstrasse in Seefeld in Tirol (@visitseefeld), site of the first environmentally neutral power plant.
Topic of the evening: the Connections between mountain agriculture and tourism 🗻

Raggiunta la terza nazione di questo viaggio: l’Austria ✔️
Dopo il Controllo Orario ripartenza da Brunico, la Prova di Media a Lasta di Dentro, le Prove Cronometrate nei territori di Terento e la Prova di Media di Pfons, gli equipaggi hanno raggiunto Innsbruck, città capofila del progetto Clean Alpine Region, attivo per lo sviluppo e applicazione di tecnologie alpine innovative🌿
La tappa si è conclusa dopo le ultime Prove Cronometrate lungo la Klosterstrasse a Seefeld in Tirol (@visitseefeld), sede del primo impianto elettrico a impatto ambientale zero.
Argomento della serata saranno le Connessioni tra agricoltura di montagna e offerta turistica 🗻

⏱️ Average Trial along the Gardena Pass towards Colfosco
The convoy then reached Corvara, a basin at 1568 m above sea level at the foot of the Sassolungo, for the Passage Control at Val Badia, one of the largest natural laboratories of sustainability.
After the Furcia Pass, the crews reached the Castello di Ripa in Brunico, (@bruneck_brunico), in the heart of the Val Pusteria: waiting for them was a lunch with Reinhold Messner (@reinholdmessner_official), who talked about experiences and projects 🏰

⏱️Prova di Media lungo il Passo Gardena in direzione Colfosco
Il convoglio ha poi raggiunto Corvara, una conca a 1.568 m sul livello del mare ai piedi del Sassolungo, per il Controllo Timbro dedicato alla Val Badia, uno dei più grandi laboratori naturali di sostenibilità.
Dopo il Passo Furcia, gli equipaggi hanno raggiunto il Castello di Ripa a Brunico, (@bruneck_brunico), nel cuore della Val Pusteria: ad attenderli un pranzo con Reinhold Messner (@reinholdmessner_official) che ha raccontato esperienze e progetti 🏰

After the lunch stop, the cars resumed their journey through the Valico di Fusine customs point, returning to Italy with the evocative scenery of the Cave del Predil, a monument to the memory of working-class people.
Sports activities carried out:
✅ Average trial along the Sella Nevea, a majestic mountain set in the Julian Alps.
✅ Passage control in Comeglians, a small village that is a mouthpiece for projects against depopulation.
✅ Time trials at the Carnia Arena, International Biathlon Centre for cross-country skiing and biathlon.
✅ Average trial at Passo Tre Croci
🏁⏱ The crews concluded the first day of competition of #CoppadelleAlpi2024 with the time control in Corso Italia in Cortina d`Ampezzo @cortinadolomiti.
This evening, at an altitude of over 2100 metres at the Rifugio Faloria, we will talk about accessible and sustainable Olympics.

Terminata la sosta pranzo, le vetture hanno ripreso il percorso attraverso la dogana del Valico di Fusine facendo ritorno in Italia con il suggestivo scenario delle Cave del Predil, monumento alla memoria del lavoro operaio.

Waking up with the first light of dawn in Trieste @discover_trieste, and start of the race with the Time Control from the beautiful Piazza overlooking the sea 🇮🇹⏱
Having crossed the Slovenian border, after the Average Trial on the Bainsizza Plateau, the Passage Control in Tolmino and the Average Trial on the banks of the Isonzo river, across the Maistrocca Pass, an Alpine pass in the Julian Alps, the convoy reached @kranjskagora for lunch and, as part of the reflection path parallel to the race, for the in-depth discussion dedicated to Sustainable Tourism Projects.

- 1 day to the start of #CoppadelleAlpi2024 🎉
Tomorrow sees the start of the fourth edition of the race, which, exceptionally abandoning its usual winter recurrence, will have a unique format 😍
Starting from Trieste, the crews will cross the entire Alpine arc from East to West in five legs, crossing the borders of Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Germany and France, travelling 1620 kilometres that will take them to Courmayeur 🏞️
The competition will be flanked by the project “The Great Alpine Journey”, a path of reflection parallel to the race itinerary aimed at representing the socio-economic, anthropological and environmental transformations of the Alpine macro-region ⛰️

Con partenza da Trieste, gli equipaggi attraverseranno in 5 tappe l’intero arco alpino da Est a Ovest, attraversando i confini di Italia, Slovenia, Austria, Liechtenstein, Svizzera, Germania e Francia, per un totale di circa 1620 chilometri che li porteranno fino a Courmayeur 🏞️
Alla competizione si affiancherà il progetto de “Il Grande Viaggio Alpino”, un percorso di riflessione parallelo all’itinerario della gara finalizzato a rappresentare le trasformazioni socioeconomiche, antropologiche e ambientali della macroregione alpina ⛰️
